法国将斥巨资提升空间监视和防御能力(英文)

French Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly unveiled France’s space strategy during a visit to the country’s Air Defence and Air Operations Command (Commandement de la Défense Aérienne et des Opérations Aériennes: CDAOA) at Air Base 942 in Lyon Mont-Verdun, the ministry announced on 26 July.

Parly said on 25 July that France would invest an additional EUR700 million (USD779 million) in military space until 2025 to increase its space surveillance and defence capbilities. This is on top of the EUR3.6 billion already foreseen for space defence in the Loi de Programmation Militaire (LPM) 2019-2025 military funding programme.

President Emmanuel Macron announced on 13 July the creation of a French space command in Toulouse on 1 September.
